I choose not to post anything about the school massacre in Texas. What's very disappointing is that, instead of expressing condolences for those who are grieving the murder of their loved ones, demagogues are predictably using this tragedy to push a political agenda. Sad, very sad. My heart & prayers go out to the families of these victims, & I give thanks for the law officer who took out the shooter.

Prayer is about how terrible, awful, & undeserving we all are of the food we're about to eat:  Calvinist.

Prayer is led by a woman:  Hey, wait a minute, you're not a Christian!

No prayer:  Unitarian.

Makes everyone hold hands:  Your mom.

Says cute little liturgical prayer between gulps of beer:  Lutheran.

By thanking the moon & sun god for this bountiful harvest:  Wait a second! You're a pagan!

Pray incantations in Latin:  Catholics.

Prays in Hebrew & glances around to see if if everyone noticed:  Pentecostal.
