LECKBAND TEMP CHALLENGE
We woke up to snow this morning. In fact, it's snowing right now. We're only supposed to get an inch or so. It reminds me of a blizzard we had in April, 1997. I was staying in a house on Benjamin Ave., while the rest of the family was still in Hawaii. When I got home that evening, there were at least a dozen fat robins in the garage. Somehow they had squeezed underneath the garage door to escape the cold & wind. I had no idea what to do, so I just let them alone. The next morning they had all frozen to death. I had to use a snow shovel to scoop them out of the garage. It was still snowing so hard & the streets were so slick that schools were cancelled. Anyway, I decided that a temp challenge was apropos this morning, so here goes. Results based on weather.com at 6:59a. (CDT)
1. Norfolk, 28
2. Ventura, IA, 30
3. Eagan, MN, 33
4. Beatrice, NE, 35
5. BALMIEST LECKBANDS: Lincoln, NE, 36
