WHY I BLOG
I originally started to blog as a form of journaling for self-therapy. That's why so many items seem of interest to me only. I still find it to be therapeutic. I hope you enjoy reading it.
CALENDAR
There have only been 2 weekdays in November, including yesterday, when I haven't had physical therapy, medical appointments, or meetings. It feels good.
PICKLE BALL
Our good friend Jim Carretto is a celebrity. His name & photo showed up in a front page article about pickle ball in the Norfolk Daily News on MON 11/16. What, you ask, is pickle ball? Google it.

"Make sure you hve enough space to maintain a safe distance between all guests. Wear masks with two or more layers. And wear them properly so that they cover the nose & mouth & have no gaps on the sides. Ask guests to wash their hands regularly. Make hand sanitizer freely available. Keep windows & doors open to circulate fresh air & keep the virus in any given area low. Put a time limit on your gatherings, 'The longer you're exposed to people, the higher the chance the virus can spread . . . '" COMMENT: Because we'd never think of asking our guests to wash their hands before dinner.
