I'M PROUD OF MY KIDS
* Our son Nathan is a stay-at-home dad for our grand-kids, Calvin & Claire.
* Our daughter-in-law Laura is co-owner of Country Day Daycare & Pre-school.
* Our son-in-law Craig serves in the Nebraska Air National Guard.
* Our daughter Sarah had her interview published in "Strictly Business Lincoln," Nov. 2020. Her picture was on the cover, too. Sarah is the clinical director of Daring Minds Therapy.
* Our son-in-law Derek's construction company, owned by his father & uncle, just finished a major street project in Norfolk.
* Our daughter Rachel is manager of Claire's, also in Norfolk.
WHAT WE'VE BEEN EATING
Last Friday we were at Sarah's. We ordered out supper from Great Wall, our favorite Chinese restaurant. I had steamed dumplings, crab rangoon, egg rolls, egg drop soup, pork fried rice, & sweet & sour shrimp. Last night we had supper at Ricardo's (in Norfolk) with the Carretto's. I had a combination burrito, hard shell taco, part of a beef enchilada, & sopapilas. Yes, I've had trouble controlling my eating.
THANKSGIVING
Sarah & the girls will join us for Thanksgiving. Church is at 7:00 on WED. Derek, Rachel, & Bentley will join us for Thanksgiving dinner, too. We plan on having deer chili on WED night. [Don't tell Hadley.] Sadly, Nathan, Laura, & the kids won't be able to join us.

We were supposed to have our OGT staff Thanksgiving luncheon this morning, but it was cancelled due to COVID, & we won't re-open again until 11/30. I was responsible for bringing a relish tray. Anyone want to help us share vegetables for 15 people?

WHAT I'M READING
I just finished reading "Jubal Early: Robert E. Lee's 'Bad Old Man,'" by Benjamin Franklin Cooling, III. Now I'm reading "Clouds of Glory: The Life & Legend of Robert E. Lee," by Michael Korda. In case you were wondering.

"I used to run into this one guy at the coffee shop who never could remember my name. To prod his memory, I pulled out a dollar & said, 'My name is Bill, just like this one-dollar. bill.' 'Got it,' he said. A few days later, our paths crossed again. This time he gave me a big, confident greeting: 'Well, hello, George!'"
