"God "desires all people to be saved to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:4) We see this especially during the season of Epiphany when Christians the world over celebrate the revelation of Christ to all people. We hear about the Wise Men, who saw Christ's star in the east & came to worship Him, testifying by their actions to the Gospel's global reach even while Jesus was still a baby. We commemorate in this season the lives of some of the Church's boldest confessors & missionaries: Peter & Paul, Timothy & Titus. We stand in awe & wonder as Christ & His mission are made known to us at His Baptism & transfiguration, through His teaching & miracles. From beginning to end, we discover anew that the church of Jesus Christ is a confessing Church, bringing Christ to the nations."
