This whole confirmation process has had me worked up again. I confess that I have increasingly checked out the same sites that I had forsworn. I came to the conclusion yesterday that pretty much everyone has made up their mind about Ford & Kavanaugh, including me. The FBI investigation will be discredited by Democrats regardless of the results. If the FBI doesn't turn up any dirt, the other side will say, "I told you so." I think the ultimate truth will be that two people have been irretrievably harmed by what's gone on & will continue to go on.
Reason has given way to emotion. As I've previously commented, both Ford & Kavanaugh have been compelling in their testimonies. Who is telling the truth?
It's been illuminating to follow Facebook re: the controversy. Did I say illuminating? I mean frustrating. In the end one must decide who seems more credible. In any case, I'm going to try to leave this topic alone until after the FBI announces its findings. It's not doing a thing for my mental health.
