ORPHAN GRAIN TRAIN

Some of you know that since 2015 I have worked for Orphan Grain Train. [I write devotions for them.] OGT is a humanitarian aid organization, located in Norfolk, Nebraska. We ship relief supplies to both domestic & international locations. Those supplies include food, clothing, school supplies, medical equipment, & more. We are closely affiliated with Mercy Meals, which produces & ships a high-protein food mixture that includes rice, iron, & minerals. We can ship those products for 8 cents a serving. Over the years we have shipped relief supplies to 37 states & 69 countries.

Perhaps the most notable feature of OGT is that we are volunteer-based. For every $1 we receive in donations, 98 cents goes directly for humanitarian relief. That's right--only 2 cents of every dollar is used for administrative expenses.

We started watching The Crown. In fact, we binge-watched, & last night we watched the final episode of this season. SPOILER ALERT:  Prince Charles is a jerk! We're still watching Heartland & our CBS shows:  NCIS, NCIS New Orleans, Blue Bloods, Seal Team, FBI, FBI Most Wanted. Lois has been watching Hallmark Christmas movies, so I guess I will be watching them soon, too.
