CHRISTMAS

Christmas Day is only 2 weeks from today! I think we're joining to share a turkey or ham dinner with the Broders. I'm working on our Christmas letter & hope to finish it by this weekend. When will I actually get it in the mail? I'm not even trying to guess.

WHAT I'M READING

Aren't you fascinated by what I'm reading? I finished "The Bridges at Toko-Ri:  A Novel, by James Michener about the Korean War. SPOILER ALERT:  I did NOT like the ending at all. Now I'm reading "The Bridge at Andau," also by James Michener. I'm not sure I like it. It's about the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, so we already know how it ends. It's pretty depressing.

POLITICAL POTPOURRI

"18 states support TX attorney general's bid to reverse Biden win." COMMENT:  I have very mixed feelings about this. I will always believe that in too many states & cities the voting was highly irregular at best, corrupt at worst. On the other hand, I think if the results were reversed, I believe there would be massive riots. I do find it ironic that the same voices telling us we should just accept the results never accepted the results of the 2016 election. I just pray for justice to be done; that God would bless us with the leaders we need & help us cope with the leaders we get. [I also pray that we retain our majority in the Senate.]
