The low temperature dipped to 17, meeting the previous record low set in 1942." Norfolk Daily News The NWS recorded 4.5" of snow in Woodland Park, which is just outside Norfolk. GO LADY EAGLES!
The LHNE Lady Eagles VB team defeated Norfolk Catholic in the Class C2 subdistrict championship at LHNE last night, 3 sets to 1. It was the 3rd time the Lady Eagles have beaten the Lady Knights this year. LHNE advances to the District championship on THU. Even if they lose, they not only have enough power points to go to State, they will also undoubtedly be seeded #1. There's a good chance they will meet Norfolk Catholic again, who will probably be seeded #2.
