ROAD TRIPS...IOWA (OR KANSAS)... UFOs...TEMP CHALLENGE

GOD'S GRACE

On this new day of a new year, to those empty, confused, or seeking, the unbearable lightness of being can be met in the abundance of God’s fullness, a gift by the way of grace, not effort!  Stuart McAllister, Slice of Infinity

ROAD TRIPS

This THU 1/23 we're taking off for our 2nd road trip * of the year. [To qualify as a road trip, we have to spend at least two nights away from home.] We're visiting our son Nathan, daughter-in-law Laura, & grand-kids Calvin & Claire. Claire was born on MON 1/13--our 3rd grand-daughter & 5th grand-child. We'll return to Norfolk probably on the following FRI. * Since our recent road trip to Wichita Falls, TX, included a weekend in Dallas, I suppose this is technically our 3rd road trip of the year. Next month we'll visit Lois' sisters in Florida.

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE . . . IOWA

"Man asks permission for trial by combat. Iowa judge receives strange petition but 'will take no further action' at this time. A Kansas man has asked an Iowa judge to let him engage in a sword fight with his ex-wife & her attorney so that he can 'rend their souls' from their bodies."  Omaha World Herald, 1/18.  Maybe this should be filed under "There Is No Place Like Kansas."

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY MONTH THOUGHT *

"Age is something that doesn't matter, unless you are a cheese." Billie Burke

* My birthday was JAN 7.

UF0s

While the government has allowed some information about these encounters, including some grainy videos, to be declassified or remain unclassified, recent news suggests there is still much that remains hidden. In fact, the Navy recently admitted to possessing top-secret information about UFOs that, if released to the public, could cause “exceptionally grave damage to the National Security of the United States.” And if that doesn’t raise enough eyebrows, this reportedly includes at least one unreleased video that has been classified as “SECRET.” Scott Morefield, Townhall
