Retirement Odyssey . . . R + 58 . . . Blog-less no more
My lifestyle still hasn't changed measurably since I officially retired on 3/1/17, but I'm not complaining. I write for Orphan Grain Train on Mon-Tue-& Wed mornings. I travel to Lincoln on Wed afternoons & stay thru Thu & Fri, helping my daughter Sarah & my two grand-daughters Brianna & Hadley while my son-in-law is deployed.I've been in a cycle of cluster headaches for a a few weeks now. I'm racing through the medicine I take at the onset of these headaches, using them much more frequently than I'm supposed to. My greatest fear? I'm suffering brain damage & nobody is noticing.
Lois just made another hotel reservation for this summer, so I think we've got all our lodging covered for our summer road grips. I'm especially looking forward to our Hill Family Couples Bash in July, where I can feel free to discuss my political views. *

Thanks to my gifted children, who shall remain nameless *, my blog is up & running again. Based on the feedback I've gotten from a plethora of feckless FB "friends," I'm going to try to keep these posts short yet meaningless.
